Pet Ultrasound In Benton City, WA
Another diagnostic tool for us to care for your pet.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a non-invasive way to provide a complete view inside of an organ. Rather than using radiation like x-ray machines, ultrasound equipment uses sound waves to capture images.
Abdominal Ultrasound can be used to examine your pet’s lymph nodes, spleen, liver, pancreas, intestinal tract, kidneys, and reproductive organs.
Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiography) can be used to diagnose cardiac disease. Some indications for this include heart murmurs, detection of congenital heart disease, diagnosis of pericardial effusion, and the identification of heart tumors.
We use the most advanced ultrasound technology and all of our ultrasound examinations are submitted via telemedicine to be interpreted by board-certified veterinary radiologists. We are also happy to accept referrals from other clinics for ultrasounds. We can perform the imaging here and submit the results to your regular veterinarian for follow up.
