End Of Life

APPOINTMENT

We’re here for you throughout every stage of your pet’s life.

When it is time to say goodbye, we help your beloved pet to cross the rainbow bridge with kindness and compassion. Empathy, openness, non-judgmentalism, and compassion are at the very heart of what we do. We tailor our approach to best suit each individual family and situation.

The actual procedure is quite simple and peaceful; except under extreme or emergent circumstances, a sedation injection is given to ensure your pet is comfortable. Once you and your pet are ready, the final euthanasia medication is given, usually in a vein. It works very rapidly, only seconds in most cases. The Veterinarian will then confirm that your pet has passed on.

After, you may continue to spend as much time as you need with your pet. If you are taking your pet home, we will help to transport your pet to the car. We also offer both private and group cremation through West Coast Pet Memorial Services.

West Coast Pet Memorial Services include 24/7 telephone grief support for our clients, as well as a variety of urns, jewelry, and keepsakes to choose from. We are able to monitor where your pet is through every step of the process and typically have them back to you within 3 business days. We feel comfortable knowing that they treat each pet with the kindness and compassion they deserve.

Lastly, we offer clay Paw Prints for your family to enjoy and further remember your pet.

We also partner with a local artist, The Glass Punty, to create memories in glass. They use just a small amount of your pet’s ashes to integrate them into a unique, handcrafted glass memorial, creating a lasting, meaningful remembrance.
